Getting from Seville to Ronda is simple, as long as you go to the right bus station. The direct buses leave from Plaza de Armas, not from Prado de San Sebastián, Seville's other bus station. By car, it is 130 to 140 km with no tolls.
By bus: Damas from Plaza de Armas
Damas runs the direct buses between Seville and Ronda: four departures from Plaza de Armas on weekdays, three at weekends. The trip takes from an hour and three quarters to two and a half hours depending on the service, and a one-way ticket costs around €15 to €16 on the ticket platforms.
Check the return timetable before you book: at weekends, the first bus back leaves Ronda only at 11:30.
For a day trip, take the 8:45 and come back on the 18:30: that leaves you about seven hours in Ronda, enough for the bridge, the viewpoints and a couple of visits. It works on weekdays and at weekends alike, since the 18:30 back runs every day.

By car: via Utrera and Algodonales
Leave Seville on the A-376 towards Utrera, then follow the roads towards Algodonales, where the A-374 takes you into Ronda. It is 130 to 140 km and takes an hour and three quarters to two and a quarter hours. There are no tolls: the AP-4 motorway goes towards Jerez and Cádiz, not Ronda. The last part of the drive is on slower, winding roads.
The car's advantage is the white villages. Zahara de la Sierra is close to the route at Algodonales and makes a natural stop on the way. Setenil de las Bodegas, about 18 km from Ronda, is a detour, easier to add from Ronda itself.
When you arrive, do not drive across the Puente Nuevo: since August 2025, only cars registered in Ronda may use it, and cameras check. Our guide to parking in Ronda lists the car parks closest to the centre.
- Route: A-376, then via Algodonales and the A-374.

By train: not before autumn 2027
Since 7 September 2026, no trains have run on the line through Ronda, closed for works until the autumn of 2027. We found no replacement route from Seville, so the bus is the way to go without a car. If you are coming from Malaga instead, see our guide from Malaga to Ronda.
