Built in 1906 in Victorian style and renovated in 2012, the Catalonia Reina Victoria stands above the Tajo gorge, about 500 metres from the Puente Nuevo and the bullring. The German poet Rainer Maria Rilke once lived here.

Rooms are contemporary, with air conditioning, a minibar and a safe, and many have a terrace over the gorge.
